Rahul Gandhi's karma & Dalit truth

Rahul Gandhi said the following during a book launch for a tome titled 'Dalit Truth- “I asked the BJP leader if he believed in the concept of rebirth. When he said no, I asked him how does he believe in Lord Ram then,”

Mahatma Gandhi thought that all Hindus must believe in rebirth. He didn't understand that for Hinduism the thing is merely a concept and thus part of Maya- delusion. Hindus believe in God. God may take an incarnation to fulfil his Divine Plan. In Chrstianity this is called the 'mysterious economy' (economy in this case means management) which preserves the katechon and holds the eschaton at bay. This is like the role of Vishnu in preserving the Cosmos till 'pralaya'- the end of days.

Some foolish or bigoted people used to 'blame the victim' by saying 'that fellow must have committed a sin in his last life which is why he is suffering now.' Hinduism, like other Religions, believes that meeting the material needs of the other fulfils one's own spiritual needs. Working for others' upliftment is natural to human beings. It is part of the Divine Plan. Rahul, fool that he is, is taking the old Gandhian line which is that Dalits are inferior by reason of misdeeds in past lives. Mahatma Gandhi was taught by his mother than if a Dalit boy touched him during play he should cancel the ill-effect by touching a Muslim and thus passing transferring that inauspicious contagion. It is sad that Rahul, who attended Harvard and who has an MPhil from Cambridge, is still playing the same game of manipulating Dalits and Muslims while pretending to be a Hindu- that too a janeodhari Brahmin!

Hilariously, Rahul- who can't get elected from Amethi- says he offered Mayawati the UP Chief Ministership! Being a mature and intelligent person who has held that post previously, she did not respond to that moon-calf. Rahul himself announced it after his party lost even Punjab. Only then did Mayawati reveal that Rajiv had called her mentor, Kanshi Ram, a CIA agent. That is the Dalit Truth.
