Kamala's 107 days- as told to the Marquise de Sade

The Marquis de Sade wrote a book called 120 days of Sodom. I haven't read it. I believe it is about a girl- possibly called Cameltoe- who suffers sadistic torture for 120 days.

Kamala Harris has written, with the help of a professional writer- a book about 107 days in her life. It appears she was incessantly tortured by various Karines or Karens in the White House. We feel sorry for her. We hope this book will finally finish off her political career- which began with affirmative action from the much older guy she was sleeping with and which received an undeserved boost when Sleepy Joe turned visibly senile- so that never again will she, or any other meretricious diversity hire, have to undergo such suffering.

What is more, reading excerpts from her book (only a masochist would read the whole thing) we now understand why Kamala's campaign was constituted so entirely of fluff and 'good vibes' that her campaign website didn't even have a policy section. It now becomes clear, thanks to the detailed account she has given of the atrocities inflicted on her by Karines & Sharines, that Kamala was suffering from PTSD. She was in a dis-associative state. Hopefully, as she begins her book-tour, she will find fellow victims and work closely with them to set up a 'peer support group'. This is vitally important if American Democracy is to survive. It is now clear that there are no 'guard rails' save such as may be constituted by our going out into the streets and shouting 'Me Too!' The horrible thing about the Biden Presidency was that it wasn't just the diversity hire, who was repeatedly subjected to rape, torture, decapitation, fat shaming and not getting invited to the White House fourth of July party, it was ALL OF US!

Let. Me. Be. Clear.  There can be no more sadistic torture than that which WE ALL VICARIOUSLY experienced at the hands of Mean Girls working close to the Oval Office. Indeed, as a crime against, fuck Humanity, KAMALA-INANITY, it outranks the Holocaust.

The following extract from Kamala's book, written with the help of Pulitzer Prize winner Geraldine Brooks, was published in the Atlantic magazine.

How did Kamala choose to introduce her book to the reader? The answer is, she begins with her attending a posh Sorority banquet- because that's what ordinary peeps do, right?
The first stop on the day’s calendar

and the first thing she wants potential readers to know

had been planned months earlier.

Formal banquets usually are.

At a meeting in the Oval Office

i.e. Biden presided

discussing her work uplifting Black executives and entrepreneurs,

coz poor Black people don't need any uplifting at all

Dr. Stacie NC Grant had invited me to address the annual gathering—the Grand Boulé—of her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta.

After all, that was what Kamala was for- attending such female only events.

Now I was in Indianapolis, looking out over a convention center packed with 6,000 powerful women in dark-blue dresses and white jackets.

So, we are not talking about the poor or the underprivileged. We are talking of the beneficiaries of decades of affirmative action who have done very well for themselves.

I’m a member of a different sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, the first Black women’s Greek-letter organization, founded at Howard University in 1908.

But Kamala isn't African American. Her father was from Jamaica just like Mary Seacole- the nurse & business woman, who did so well in, and out of, the Crimean War in 1857. Back then many African American women were still slaves. Kamala's mother was South Indian. The world's first two female Prime Ministers- Mrs. Bandarnaike & Indira Gandhi- came from that part of the world at a time when many African Americans- men as well as women- could not vote.

But these women are my sisters, too.
Because you say so. If you aren't counted as African American what right do you have to affirmative action? Over the last decade, organizations like “American Descendants of Slavery” (ADOS) and Foundational Black Americans (FBA) have challenged the unjust appropriation of reparative entitlements by those of recent immigrant descent. No doubt, this is very convenient for those who fund them. But then, other equally White, billionaires funded the opposite type of Wokeness.
We’re all part of the Divine Nine, the Greek organizations founded when segregation was law in the South and standard practice in the North.

But not where either of Kamala's parents came from.

W. E. B. Du Bois and Thurgood Marshall were early members of the first Black fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha, founded at Cornell University in 1906.
They were smart. Kamala isn't smart. She caught a couple of lucky breaks but fucked up when it really mattered. Her 'sisters' should tell her to fuck off. Had she genuinely been Afro-American, maybe she would have actually stood for something. True, had she done well as Veep, or become President, then we wouldn't speak of 'stolen Glory'. We would say 'she may have opportunistically aligned herself with a broad and rising class, but she reflected glory upon it.' Kamala, by contrast, makes her sorority sisters appear to us as a bunch of incompetent Diversity Hires without any firmly held convictions but with enormous, Narcissistic, egos.
The Divine Nine has been an engine of uplift for
already uplifted
generations of Black college men and women,
but not for West Indian men or South Indian women. Kamala doesn't have a drop of American blood in her body. The fact is, the British Empire was much less Racist than the US.
instilling a love and celebration of excellence, philanthropy, and service to all mankind.
Whereas other such student fraternities instil hate of mankind- right?
My Divine Nine family would show up for me throughout the campaign.
Is that why you lost?
That day I was so pleased to see the young president of Phi Beta Sigma, Chris V. Rey, and the esteemed president of Delta Sigma Theta, Elsie Cooke-Holmes.
Both of whom sit on a lot of boards. Why not just say 'That day I was so pleased to see two influential people who could get me lots and lots of donations?'
Throughout my career I’ve maintained that people in positions of power must be required to ask of themselves: Who am I not hearing from?
People who don't sit on a lot of boards and thus can't get you lots and lots of funding.
Then make it their business to seek those folks out.
Kamala was the child of immigrants. She was unlikely to be hearing a lot from people who don't like immigrants because they feel their own life-chances were reduced by immigration.

It turned out that concern about immigration- more particularly the fear that immigrants might cook and eat the cat- helped Trump win. But so did not having to run against Biden. Kamala underperformed Biden's 2020 performance in virtually every demographic and every state to the tune of 11 million votes in aggregate.

This time last year there was pushback against people who called Kamala a 'Diversity hire'. Now, there is none. She was a Diversity hire- a shitty one. That's why the Republicans control not just Congress but SCOTUS. Fuck was she doing for four years in the White House? After 'Dobbs' (i.e. the overturning of Roe v Wade) Kamala (who as a candidate had been 'open' to Supreme Court reform, unlike Biden) could have prodded Biden on the issue. He only came out in favour of it last June. But, the election was lost by then.

Kamala's new book shows why Diversity Hires are shittier than they would be if nobody gave a fuck about their colour or gender. This is because they feel they need to be promoting their own clique. Yet, because they are bound to fuck up, because all they care about is preaching to their own 'Amen Corner', that clique looks like a bunch of clowns. Thus, Trump going after a Black Woman on the Federal Reserve's Board (so as to reduce its independence) can be passed off as getting rid of a stupid- probably corrupt- Diversity Hire even if this was never the case.
I came to the White House knowing that
my job was to wrangle Congress. With the help of the Black Caucus and the Female Caucus and the Homosexual Caucus and the Transgender Caucus and the Black Female Homosexual Transgender Nazi Caucus. this is precisely what I managed to do. When 'Dobbs' was decided, I was able to persuade Biden to go for Supreme Court Reform. This scared SCOTUS straight but not before Dobbs helped us win the mid-terms.

That's the sort of thing Kamala should have written- if she hadn't been not just a DEI hire but a shitty one at that.
the people in that building needed to hear from a wider range of voices.
i.e. not just POTUS. The Veep too should harangue them.

The plain fact is the White House is the fucking Executive. It doesn't need to listen to anything save better solutions to pragmatic problems as they arise on a day to day basis. No doubt, the Black, Jewish, LGBTQ Nazi community wants its own very considerable grievances listened to- but that's what Congress is for! Those poor bastards have to listen to worse nutjobs every day of the week.
As vice president I’d been given several roles by Joe Biden.
The role of token Black as well as the role of token Woman. Could she also be the token Homosexual? Perhaps, given time. She likes hanging out with historically African American sororities. Something is bound to give.
But one role I created for myself was building up the diverse coalition that our party encompassed.
That turned out to be a complete waste of time. Harris made no gains, compared to Biden, from Black women- probably because she didn't start fucking them- but lost some Black and Hispanic male as well as some non-Black female votes. Oddly, pro-choice voters were split between Trump & Harris while Muslims voted more for Trump or Jill Stein. The worst part of it is, Harris did worse, by 2.2 million votes, in her home state than Biden had done. I suppose that's why she isn't running for Governor. The evidence is, she isn't a good campaigner. Worse yet, though always making a good first impression, there seemed to be little substance to her. To be fair, as Veep, she had to suppress her presumably more liberal views so as to better serve the President. But, she is welcome to speak frankly about what she herself wanted to say or do now that she is unemployed. Sadly, what she has done is to show she had a DEI mentality and this made her utterly useless as a politician. Her place is with her sorority sisters braiding each other's hair and pretending to give ear to each other's tales of so sedulously 'confronting gendered stereotypes' that they got no work done and so everybody started making fun of them for being useless Diversity Hires which is totes unfair because the only useful thing a Diversity Hire can do is to bang on about the terrible injustices faced by Diversity Hires simply on the grounds that they are useless and demand constant praise and attention.
I made it my business to get out there and make sure that no community was overlooked, especially those that had been taken for granted in the past.
Poorer Whites? Latinos? Rural folk? No. Harris concentrated on her Black sorority sisters. That's why, thanks to her titanic efforts, she retained Biden's share of the Black Female vote. In every other population segment, she did worse than Biden had done.

Admittedly, with this new book, Kamala has made progress. Black women who are not part of a 'Divine Nine' sorority won't vote for her. She is shit.

Black women, the Democrats’ staunchest, most reliable voting bloc, was one such community.
Biden rewarded them by giving Harris the Veep spot. They remained faithful to the Dems, but Harris gained no extra votes from them.
The boulé in Indianapolis was one of a dozen Divine Nine gatherings I’d addressed since taking office.
She had been a member of a 'Divine Nine' sorority. Thus, to hear diverse voices, she attended a dozen gatherings of people like herself. They were her 'Amen Corner'. But she has made them look as shitty as herself.
On this day there was a new energy in the room as I walked onto the stage. A Black woman was slated to be the Democratic nominee for president. It was us.
There is a Royal 'we'. Kamala, being very diverse, has a Veepish 'us'.
And everyone there understood what it meant:
College educated women understood that if a Black woman failed to get a job a Black man got twice, maybe it was because she was stupid.
that this would be a journey of both joy and pain.

Trump got the joy. The Dems got the pain.

I was in a room full of people with whom, because of our shared experience, certain words did not need to be said.
No words whatsoever needed to be said because Kamala already had their votes. It was non-College educated Whites she should have been talking to.
There is an emotion that comes from being in a place where people see you, support you, know you.

and are kind enough not to tell you not to get your hopes up.

The kindness and the love in that room penetrated the armor I usually wore, armor I’d need to put back on as soon as I left that room.

Kamala needs armour when with non College-educated Black women. No wonder she lost.

The biggest applause came when I started to say what I would do to restore the rights of Roe v. Wade.

“When I am president—”

A roar erupted that drowned out the rest of that sentence.

Sadly, it didn't drown Kamala. Newsom would have done better against Trump.

That roar told me they could see it. Clearly, for the first time.

Unlike the last time she ran.

This could be, and it should be.

It wasn't. Reading this dreck, we realize it shouldn't and couldn't have been.

It was not because of gender or because of race, but despite those things.

First, Biden defeated her and then Trump defeated her. Both were elderly White men. This wasn't because of gender or race. It was because she was and is shit.

I thought, as I often did, of Shirley Chisholm,
who, like her father, was of Afro-Caribbean heritage. Her parents may well have known her. She wasn't shit. She stood for something. The problem with the DEI crowd is that they had things too easy. That's why they never bothered to make themselves useful by actually doing useful things. Kamala's big complaint is that the office of the President wasn't working round the clock to make it appear that the Veep was useful. She says 'Biden should have realized his job was to make me look good. If I looked bad, people would blame him for hiring a DEI cretin.' The problem with this view is that a President doesn't look bad if his Vice President looks worse. He looks good by comparison.
and I know they did, too. The first Black woman elected to the U.S. Congress and the first woman to run for our party’s nomination.

Clinton did finally manage to get it. But she lost.

She had blazed the path, and now I was standing on it.
At least Kamala got to be Veep rather than just the First Lady. It was her reward for browbeating Kavanaugh in his confirmation hearing. But Kavanaugh still got through. Rewarding losers, like Kamala- however diverse they may be- is a bad idea. Why? You lose if you are led by a congenital loser.

Still, Kamala had a pretty liberal platform when she first ran for the ticket. But did she really have liberal convictions? No. Otherwise, she'd mention them now.
From Indianapolis we flew on to Houston to meet with emergency-management staff and get a briefing on recovery efforts after the devastation of Hurricane Beryl.

I suppose, if you can't brief the organ-grinder, you have to give briefings to monkeys.

The Category 1 hurricane’s eyewall had slammed Houston, bringing down power lines and leaving vulnerable people without air-conditioning or water during triple-digit heat indexes. At least 20 souls had died. The economic damage—in the billions—was still being reckoned.

At this point, she needs to get in a dig at Trump's callous disregard for such people. She doesn't bother.

These kinds of briefings are sadly familiar to me.

Organ grinders are busy folk. Briefings have to be given to monkeys. They soon become very familiar with them.

As district attorney, I’d witnessed the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

On TV?  Perhaps Californian D.A's are in the habit of launching prosecutions of Hurricanes in Louisiana on charges of Grand Larceny or Vehicular Manslaughter.

As senator, I’d been to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria

because those folk hadn't suffered enough- right?

and I’d toured the communities in my home state that had been ravaged by wildfires.

We get it. You are a disaster tourist.

It was heartbreaking to see the scale of these losses and the exhausted faces of individuals standing in the ruins of a lifetime’s work, a lifetime’s dreams.

Spare a thought for your fellow Dems whom you led to defeat.

It was infuriating to see how predators swarmed like cockroaches, price gouging, spreading misinformation.

It is infuriating to see Trump rule the country.

But it was also inspiring to talk to the first responders who ran toward danger,

Unlike Kamala who ran away from danger by saying everything Biden did was peachy perfect.

sometimes helping strangers even as their own homes were at risk. And then there were the regular people who stepped up to help in whatever way they could: collecting toiletries, making sandwiches, organizing clothing drives.

putting up with disaster-tourists and wiping the drool of their lips and sending them safely home, etc.

In my life I’ve seen over and over that it is often the people with the least who give the most.

In Kamala's life, what we are invited to witness, is that the person with the most power gave the least because what really bothered her was some mean Karine or Karen on the President's staff.

Perhaps, I'm being unfair. After all she didn't just say 'thoughts & prayers' to victims of natural disasters. She also said every one of you is a hero and so very very special. Except the price-gougers. They are cockroaches. Capitalism is very evil.

As I shook hands and thanked the police and emergency workers one by one, in each I saw a hero.

Nobody now sees Kamala as a hero. She was a Diversity Hire who now gets a very nice pension and  Secret Service protection for life.

The kind of person who answered a calling with a sense of duty to the well-being of people they’ve never met. A reporter in the press pool shouted a question about Biden’s upcoming speech. It was just after 5 p.m. in Houston, and the president would be addressing the nation from the Oval Office later that evening.

We get it. Kamala was on autopilot. That's why the framing here is so perfunctory.  What really mattered was what Biden would say about her.

I watched it at the hotel that night. It was a good speech, drawing on the history of the presidency to locate his own place within it. But as my staff later pointed out, it was almost nine minutes into the 11-minute address before he mentioned me.

Why wasn't the whole speech about Kamala? Did the American people know that she had been constantly battling 'gendered stereotypes' for the last three and a half years? No wonder she was too exhausted to do anything useful. Biden should have told the American people to pull their socks up. Otherwise the Veep will become yet more exhausted.

“I want to thank our great vice president, Kamala Harris.

He may have also wanted to be genuinely grateful to her for good work she put in. Sadly, he had to settle for thanking for her sticking with the totally exhausting job of being a useless Diversity Hire.

She is experienced,

but still useless

she’s tough,

see above

she’s capable.

No. She has the capacity to be a Diversity Hire. But so does a drunken bum sleeping on the street. She simply wasn't and isn't a capable woman though initially creating a good impression.

She’s been an incredible partner to me

but you were shit. Being a partner in a shit administration just means you are shit.

and leader for our country.”

And that was it.

I am a loyal person.

In other words, she wanted to scratch Biden's beady little eyes out.

During all those months of growing panic,

America needs a POTUS who experiences 'months of growing panic'. Also, POTUS should feel she needs to put on armour when not with sorority sisters. This is because ordinary people don't understand the terrible suffering involved in holding high office when you are an utterly useless moral imbecile.

should I have told Joe to consider not running? Perhaps.

He might then have replied in the same terms. 'Darling, you are a Diversity Hire. You are shit at campaigning. Without Willie Brown's machine to back you up, you couldn't have been elected rat-catcher. All the campaign donations in the world can't get you elected POTUS. Tell you what, why don't you resign and I'll send you to the UN or France or something. That way I can get in a Veep who will be some use to me unlike you- you big fat useless turd.'

But the American people had chosen him before in the same matchup. Maybe he was right to believe that they would do so again.

If he'd been in good shape mentally, he might indeed have won. He was likeable and when standing opposite fatty Trump, he gave off a steely Clint Eastwood vibe.

He was, by some measures, the most consistently underestimated man in Washington.

She means she thought he was a senile dickhead. She should have got the nomination in 2020. She'd have lost. Biden, as she had pointed out, had opposed bussing. Maybe he'd properly enforce Trump's shambolic border policy.

He’d been right about his tactics for pushing his agenda through a resistant Congress.

Kamala could supply no alternative.

It was just possible he was right about this, too.

He was right that Kamala could not win. She was,  after all, a Diversity hire. But 'Wokeness' was no longer cool.

And of all the people in the White House, I was in the worst position to make the case that he should drop out.

Because she had zero political nous. Still she did tick two boxes- viz. being black and female- and probably brought in a goodly sum of Californian cash. Indeed, her ability to attract money is her strong suit. The problem is that money is not enough to get an 'empty suit' elected if the other candidate isn't equally vacuous.

I knew it would come off to him as incredibly self-serving if I advised him not to run.

He might say 'you are a shit Vice President. Please resign so I can nominate someone competent under section 2 of the 25th Amendment. That person will takeover from me & defeat Trump as I did. You are shit. If you care about your country and are loyal to your party, resign immediately.'

He would see it as naked ambition,

No. If your Deputy suggests you retire because you are too old, you tell her to resign because it is clear she can't fill your boots. You will indeed retire, but need to train up a competent replacement.

The problem with naked ambition is that it has to wear lots of virtue signalling petticoats otherwise it is told it needs to cut back on the starchy food and spend more time at the gym. Also, get the fuck out of here. You're fired!

perhaps as poisonous disloyalty,
Biden may have been senile but he was never stupid enough to think Kamala was capable of loyalty. Still better to have her inside the tent pissing out, rather than outside the tent pissing in. Still, all Biden ended up with was a pissed off broad. Still, this book doesn't damage him. It damages her. We remember that Biden was the best of a bad bunch back in 2000. Shame his age caught up with him. But that's something which could happen to all of us. With Kamala, it is a fatal type of Narcissism which has caught up with her. If her sorority sisters stop inviting her to talk to them, she will grow old addressing herself in the mirror with rousing oratory 'When 'us' becomes President (pause for rapturous applause which she herself supplies) us will fucking fuck over all those fucking Karens who meanly said us was a Diversity Hire. (Pause for yet more rapturous applause).
even if my only message was: Don’t let the other guy win.
That is not a message you need to send. Also, it is considered rude to remind people that they need to fart occasionally.
“It’s Joe and Jill’s decision.”
Just as it was Kamala's decision not to resign.
We all said that, like a mantra, as if we’d all been hypnotized.
As if you were too chicken-shit to resign or just plain speak your mind.
Was it grace, or was it recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was recklessness.
I suppose what she means is 'were we being reckless in not voicing our doubts? Or did considerations of Divine Grace cause us to hold our tongue? For doth the Bible not say 'yea, for even unto the lowest Veep who telleth POTUS to just fuck off and die already you smelly, senile, cunt, there shall be given two terms in ye olde Whitey's House for lo, thus sayeth Audre Lorde, some shite about the Master's tools and the Master's house and me be a po' pickaninny sho' nuff Hallelujah!'
The stakes were simply too high. This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.
Sadly the Party's decision to back Kamala turned out to be wrong. Don't put the Diversity Hire up against a guy people think was a better POTUS than the incumbent. Pick a young white dude with good hair.
Many people want to spin up a narrative of some big conspiracy at the White House to hide Joe Biden’s infirmity.

There may have been a conspiracy to expose it. FDR was crippled by polio. He was a three term President. Few of the voters knew of his disability. They thought he was a big dude who stood tall on his own two feet. It is easy to hide the Boss's 'infirmity'. The trick is to put it out there live on Prime Time TV for all to see.

On the other hand, many Dems thought Biden could survive the debate. What he couldn't survive was George Clooney sticking the knife in. Indeed, Clooney decided to 'step back' from commenting on politics after furious Dems made him the scapegoat for their loss. But this begs the question, if Kamala (whom he endorsed) hadn't put the knife in his hand, who did?
Here is the truth as I lived it.
In other words, here is me telling a big fat lie.
Joe Biden was a smart guy
Nice guy. Not smart at all. Sadly, his Cabinet was utterly shit.
with long experience and deep conviction, able to discharge the duties of president. On his worst day, he was more deeply knowledgeable, more capable of exercising judgment, and far more compassionate than Donald Trump on his best.
That was clearly not the case at the time of the debate. His people should have ensured it was taped when he was well rested and alert.
But at 81, Joe got tired. That’s when his age showed in physical and verbal stumbles.
Harris was over the median age when she ran for President. It showed. She was mutton trying to come off as lamb. What was odd was the word-salad tumbling out of her mouth. Was she trying to come across as a 12 year old Valley Girl? Perhaps. It's what happened to me after I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I had originally borrowed the box set because I heard there was an actor with the surname Iyer in it. Then I got hooked. Anyway, the Iyer in it was some sort of British dude named 'Nigel'. I didn't like him. But I did adopt Valley Girl 'vocal fry'. In the reboot, I should be allowed to play Dawn Summers. I'm willing to go blonde for the part. What I want you to understand is I'm not against DEI per se. People of South Indian heritage like me and Kamala do deserve a spot on overly White shows like Buffy or Friends. After all, Mindy did well on 'Office' as did Aziz on 'Parks & Recreations'. But Kamala did not do well on the reboot of 'West Wing'.
I don’t think it’s any surprise that the debate debacle happened right after two back-to-back trips to Europe and a flight to the West Coast for a Hollywood fundraiser.
His handlers fucked up. Either that, or they stabbed him in the back.
I don’t believe it was incapacity. If I believed that, I would have said so. As loyal as I am to President Biden, I am more loyal to my country.
So were the people who thought you'd be a shit President and switched their vote from Biden to Trump.
I was well aware of my delicate status.
She means, she was aware she was on thin ice as the Diversity Hire. She needed to find some way to make herself useful.
Lore has it that every outgoing chief of staff always tells the incoming president’s chief of staff Rule No. 1: Watch the VP.

I doubt anybody said that to Trump's chief of staff. Nor would they have done to Biden's unless it was common knowledge that Kamala was a brown Sarah Palin who might easily get distracted and wander into traffic.

The fact is, Biden had been a two term Veep. Obama didn't need to keep an eye on him. He made himself plenty useful. But, Kamala was an unknown quantity. Sadly, those watching her found there was less to her than met the eye.
Because I’d gone after him over busing in the 2019 primary debate,
i.e. she had raked up stuff from the early Seventies in an opportunistic manner
I came into the White House with what we lawyers call a “rebuttable presumption.”
No. She did badly in the primaries. She was rejected by African Americans in South Carolina (not that it mattered as it is a Republican stronghold). Still, the presumption was that she was shit at campaigning. Could she do well in an office job? No. Her office was shambolic. Staffers had been complaining about her for decades.
I had to prove my loyalty, time and time again.
Sadly, she didn't bother to prove her competence. Granted, she would have had little to begin with. Still, some people grow in the job. Others don't because it is so exhausting to continually confront gendered stereotypes propagated by various Karens and Sharons.
When Fox News attacked me on everything from my laugh, to my tone of voice, to whom I’d dated in my 20s, or claimed I was a “DEI hire,” the White House rarely pushed back with my actual résumé: two terms elected D.A
thanks to her ex-boyfriend, Willie Brown who was 30 years older than her. Maybe if she'd risen on her own, she'd have some convictions. Her mistake was to think Biden would be her new Willie. But she hadn't slept with him. He didn't owe her anything.
., top cop in the second-largest department of justice in the United States, senator representing one in eight Americans.
This is a good enough resume for a one-term Veep. Kamala was the Democrat's Dan Quale.
Lorraine Voles, my chief of staff, constantly had to advocate for my role at events: “She’s not going to stand there like a potted plant. Give her two minutes of remarks. Have her introduce the president.”
So, life does imitate art! But VEEP was funny. Kamala laughed a lot but never said anything witty or memorable. Consider what happened when she went on the 'Subway Takes' podcast. Wikipedia reports- in August 2024, SubwayTakes was invited to interview Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. During Rahma's interview of Harris, Harris surprised Rahma when she diverted from the pre-approved take against removing shoes on airplanes
which is boring but not controversial
to a "Bacon is a spice" take. Rahma, who is Muslim and cannot eat pork due to his religious beliefs, asked if she could do the pre-approved take. But, after being advised by a staffer, Harris moved to a pro-anchovies-on-pizza take.
I suppose this pisses off the vegetarians. Still, jalapenos would have been the safer choice.

Rahma later expressed apprehension of both takes. After Walz's interview was published, Harris's campaign apologized for the bacon take and offered to do a reshoot, which Rahma denied
He didn't publish the podcast because he didn't want to be blamed for Kamala losing the election. There was something oddly tone-deaf about Kamala. She speaks of cooking pork roast for her Jewish husband. Even if her husband is not religious, Jewish & Muslim voters might be put off by this. Absent other information, we get the picture of a woman who forces her husband to eat what she likes without regard to his religious heritage.
They had a huge comms team;

Biden was the first POTUS to have an all female comms team. Three of the seven were Black- Ashley Etienne, Karine Jean-Pierre, and Symone Sanders. Karine was under Biden and did well, gaining promotion, and completing a full term. Ashley & Symone were under Kamala. They quickly quit. Now it is certainly true that an ambitious, but stupid, person who hires a bunch of smart people and then burns through them till they finally hit on a team which can do their thinking for them and make them look smart, deserves to, and often does, succeed. The problem for such people arises where they are Deputy to a stupid senile person who, however, is good at staff retention and can get re-elected because of genuine moral integrity. In this scenario, even if you stab the boss in the back and get his job you soon lose it to a smarter sociopath than yourself. That's what happened to Kamala. Trump even accused her of having suddenly 'turned Black'. Perhaps, that was why he had previously donated to her campaign. He thought she was of German heritage.

they had Karine Jean-Pierre

previously Kamala's Chief of Staff. Under Biden, she flourished while those colleagues who remained under Kamala suffered or quit
briefing in the pressroom every day. But getting anything positive said about my work or any defense against untrue attacks was almost impossible.
I suppose Kamala isn't going to run again. She may as well let her hair down and bitch about Karine and all the other Karens who were mean to her. The question she must ask herself is why her communications directors kept quitting on her? Was it because she had nothing to communicate? The plain fact is, if a Veep's staff think she isn't shit, they make it a point to stick around. Their Boss might become POTUS one day. Sadly, Kamala was shit.
An example: In 2021, I was dispatched to the Élysée Palace to help reset our tattered relationship with France after we signed the Australia-U.K.-U.S. security pact.
Was it a good pact? No. It was shit. We know that now. But she must have known it already- unless she is as thick as shit- and thus shouldn't have mentioned it in a book which would be published around the time of the Trump review of the deal.
Australia had agreed to buy submarines from France but scrapped that contract when we and the U.K. agreed to supply Australia with nuclear subs under the new AUKUS agreement instead. This had caused tremendous friction.

Is she taking a dig at Biden? I suppose so. But if the only person who can vouch for your capability is a guy you keep describing to your readers as a 'reckless' shithead, what proof is there you weren't just a diversity hire?

In our meeting, Emmanuel Macron and I warmed the chill by focusing on our many areas of cooperation, such as space exploration, climate change, transatlantic security, cybersecurity, the Sahel, and the Indo-Pacific.
Macron understood that the Diversity Hire was as thick as shit. There was no point screaming at her.
On that trip, I was invited to visit the renowned Pasteur Institute, where my mother had worked on mRNA research related to breast cancer. I was speaking informally with the scientists there about

Mum's final insights in that field? That would be interesting.

how I wished politicians would more closely follow the scientific method:
they can't because duplicability is impossible
testing a hypothesis and adjusting according to results, rather than coming in with the Plan, as if they had all the answers up front.
Plans consider different scenarios and provide for adjustment to contingencies.
I said “the Plan” with exaggerated emphasis and air quotes.
Coz I'm a thirteen year old Valley girl.
Fox News, the New York Post, and Newsmax went wild, claiming I’d faked a French accent. This was total nonsense,
What she had been saying was nonsense. Still, it was very much in line with what watching VEEP would have led her interlocutors to expect.
but the White House seemed glad to let reporting about my “gaffe” overwhelm the significant thaw in foreign relations I’d achieved.

They were glad Kamala hadn't done her Adolf Hitler impression.

Worse, I often learned that the president’s staff was adding fuel to negative narratives that sprang up around me.

Mean girls were nasty to the Diversity Hire. Thankfully, her sorority sisters from the 'Divine Nine' patted her on the back and said she'd be President for sure. How about President of Jamaica? That's where you're from, right?

One narrative that took a stubborn hold was that I had a “chaotic” office and unusually high staff turnover during my first year.

This merely reflected her lack of experience. Anyway, the Diversity hire probably has to hire people even more diverse than herself.

The plain fact is many people who come to work with a new administration in the White House haven’t done it before.
Kamala was one of them. Sadly, experienced people don't count as diversity hires.
It’s a job unlike any other, and not every person, no matter how talented in their former position, can step up into such a high-stress, round-the-clock role. Others find they just don’t want a job that
involves working for a stupid, useless, narcissistic shithead.
doesn’t pay particularly well, takes a massive toll on family, and rules out anything resembling a normal life. I’m not going to keep people on who can’t thrive in their jobs—it’s not fair to them and it’s not good for the country.
This hurts me more than it hurts you. You're fired! Fuck the fuck off. The whole nation will be grateful. Let that be a comfort to you.
So the first year in any White House sees staff churn.
One former staffer said, "With Kamala you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence. So you're constantly sort of propping up a bully, and it's not really clear why."

What Kamala needs to do is somehow hint that she had and has a liberal agenda and that's the real reason for staff attrition and Karines and other Karens being mean to her.
Working for the first woman vice president, my staff had the additional challenge of
working for a narcissistic bully of a shithead who had no fucking agenda and no moral integrity?
confronting gendered stereotypes, a constant battle that could prove exhausting.
If confronting gendered stereotypes is exhausting, think how tiring confronting Xi or Putin would be. Thankfully, Kamala was spared any such thing.
I was the first vice president to have a dedicated press pool tracking my every public move.
Probably because of the success of the comedy series 'VEEP'. Maybe the constant presence of TV cameras caused Kamala to talk like a giggly thirteen year old Valley Girl. This pisses me off. That's my schtick.
Before me, vice presidents had what’s called a “supplemental pool,” as the first lady does, covering important events. Because of this constant attention, things that had never been especially newsworthy about the vice president
like Dan Quale not knowing how to spell potato?
were suddenly reported and scrutinized.
Kamala is making a mistake by dwelling on things which most of her readers had forgotten. If she must rake them up, she should inject a note of self-deprecating humour and show that she was quick too learn from her mistakes.
And when the stories were unfair or inaccurate, the president’s inner circle seemed fine with it.
How odd! The inner circle of the President should make looking after the Diversity Hire their first order of business. Fuck running the country. What matters is the trials and tribulations of the first Veep to confront and get exhausted by gendered stereotypes.
Indeed, it seemed as if they decided I should be knocked down a little bit more.
Fair point. Biden gained by making Kamala look bad. The problem is, Kamala loses by making her former boss look bad. Why? Because it proves she was a diversity hire. It wasn't the case that Biden grew to rely on her judgment and that they grew closer and bonded and that he passed on his wisdom to her.
“The VP should take on irregular migration.”

From March 2021, my assignment was to attack the root causes of the misery that was driving people from their homes and villages in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.
Her job was to tell them they wouldn't be welcome in America. Apply for a visa. That's what my parents did.
Because I’d prosecuted cartels and human traffickers from the Northern Triangle, I was up to speed on the region and its problems, and had ideas about the kinds of investments and other interventions that over time would reduce irregular migration, help to bring stability, and offer people a safer future in their own community.
Those are long term solutions. The problem was the 'pull factor' created by Biden taking office. All over the world the word had gone out. It's now or never to take what in Punjab is called the 'donkey' route into the States.
Most people don’t want to leave home. They don’t want to leave their grandmother, their church, their friends, their language. And when they do, it is usually for one of two reasons:
pull- i.e. better wages- or push- being killed if you don't leave.
they fear for their lives, or they can’t make a living.
That's 'push'. The trick is to find them somewhere else to go.
Much of that region is rural, and farmers are increasingly hit by climate events such as floods and droughts. If you can no longer grow food where you are, and if there’s no other livelihood, you will leave, because there’s simply no choice. Corruption and gangs thrive when there are limited resources.
A 13 year old school-girl might say as much in a class presentation. More is expected of a grown-up woman. Perhaps, the truth is, Kamala was never bright. Still, she had ambition. Sadly, her narcissism and deep sense of race-based entitlement prevented her from gaining the type of 'horse sense' Biden could display.
When Republicans mischaracterized my role as “border czar,” no one in the White House comms team helped me to effectively push back and explain what I had really been tasked to do, nor to highlight any of the progress I had achieved. I won commitments of $5.2 billion in new investments by private companies for the region. I had already seen almost a billion dollars of that money deployed, thanks to enthusiastic partners such as Mastercard, Microsoft, and Nespresso.
Did irregular migration decrease? No. It increased. Why? The pull factor had increased. There was a sense of urgency. Get in while Biden is still President.
I held numerous bilateral meetings with leaders throughout the region, especially with President Alejandro Giammattei in Guatemala,
one of Biden's final acts in office was to bar the dude from the US because of corruption charges.
and later his successor, President Bernardo Arévalo.
the son of a former President considered to be Biden's pick. He seems smart and is intent on staying on the right side of Trump by taking back Guatemalan migrants etc.
I had multiple calls with Giammattei, warning him that I expected free and fair elections; I sent my national security adviser Phil Gordon to reinforce the message in person; and I publicly supported Arévalo once the election was called.
With the result that Guatemalans hated her and Biden. Trump may fuck you over, but he won't lecture you on Human Rights.
Indians had come to hate Kamala. Why? She said she 'stood' with the people of Kashmir. She didn't. She was just talking is all. What was the outcome? Kamala, compared to Biden, lost both Hindu and Muslim voters. Bacon really isn't a spice. Don't say you cooked pork for your Jewish hubby. Say you made apple pie and your step-kids call you Momala.
I met with activist groups fighting against corruption and for human rights in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Cabinet members pitched in: Tom Vilsack at the Department of Agriculture accessed resources to train farmers in the latest methods to increase yields.
Thankfully, Trump has pulled the plug on such programs designed to breed 'dissidents'.
I worked closely with Mexico’s president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and later his successor, President Claudia Sheinbaum, on our mutual border concerns. The investment I was bringing was a bargaining chip with regional governments to crack down on corrosive levels of corruption.

She wasn't bringing shit. Also if corruption is the problem, offering a bribe to curb it isn't going to help.

These American companies, I told them, would not invest unless real steps were taken.

They could invest through foreign entities so as to get around the Alien Torts Act.

The investments I encouraged have connected communities to the internet and brought people into the formal financial system, creating jobs and opportunity.

Both are more abundantly available across the border.

In the locations where I was able to bring new enterprises and greater stability, data showed it was working. Our investments had created 70,000 new jobs, reached more than a million people with training programs, and connected 2.5 million previously unbanked people with banking services and access to credit. These people were staying put. I wanted to get that good news out. But White House staff stalled. “Not yet. We need more data.” The story remained untold.

Perhaps, in other parts of the book, Kamala talks of all the jobs she brought to different parts of her own country. Stuff like that matters to American voters. Indeed, it appears this shite doesn't matter to Kamala. She only mentions it because the President's staff weren't giving her a gold star for it.

Instead, I shouldered the blame for the porous border,

Not really. Nobody expected the diversity hire to do shit.

an issue that had proved intractable for Democratic and Republican administrations alike. Even the breathtaking cruelty of Trump’s family-separation policy hadn’t deterred the desperate. It was an issue that absolutely demanded bipartisan cooperation at an impossibly partisan, most uncooperative time.

Breath taking cruelty of Karine & other Karens was worse than Trump's. But the real fault lay with Biden.

No one around the president advocated, Give her something she can win with.

Like getting her to talk to sorority sisters from the 'Divine Nine'. She can win with that audience.

Then the Dobbs decision came down.

Here was a huge issue on which the president was not seeking to lead.

It turned out not to matter.

Joe struggled to talk about reproductive rights in a way that met the gravity of the moment. He ceded that leadership to me.

Many thought this was Kamala's big break. But she muffed it. Pro choice women were evenly split between Kamala & Trump. In other words, Dobbs didn't affect voting.

I initiated a national tour and rallied the outrage in red states and blue states alike. As well as big public events, I convened roundtables, starting out with 10 or 12 state legislators whom I would connect with resources in the Justice Department or Health and Human Services. Soon, advocates started attending, then health-care providers, then families affected by restrictive laws. There would be hundreds of people at these meetings, building a national coalition.

Which failed. Half of pro-choice women voted for Trump.

All this work upended the narrative that we were doomed to a shellacking in the midterms.

Kamala is saying 'I delivered the mid-terms. Biden's own approval was very low. Two thirds of mid-term voters said Biden should not run again. He was too old. The problem was that if he announced he would not seek a second term, then Kamala would have had to face primaries. Her campaign might once again have fizzled out. Perhaps, the game-changer was Trump announcing his candidacy after mid-terms even though MAGA candidates hadn't done well. I think the Dems either had to stick with Biden, who'd beaten Trump once and might do so again, or else pick a candidate from outside the administration who could attack some aspects of Biden's record- e.g. migration- while also slamming Trump. Kamala could have resigned and taken on this role. It would be risky, but it would show she stood for something.

I suppose, you could argue, if Kamala knew Biden had become 'infirm', a sense of duty to her country would have prevented her resigning unless she was sure her replacement was at least as competent as she was. The problem is, she wasn't competent. Moreover, she is being very foolish to now declare Biden was compos mentis. Loyalty is one thing. Lying is another.
We defied historical precedent because of our efforts on this issue. (Since 1934, the president’s party has lost an average of 28 House seats and four Senate seats in midterm elections. We lost just nine seats in the House and retained control of the Senate.)
At the time, some thought SCOTUS had screwed Trump. It turned out Americans understood Trump's 'States Rights' defence. Thus SCOTUS served his turn. Evangelicals saw that Trump had delivered in the biggest way even, so to speak, posthumously.
Joe was already polling badly on the age issue, with roughly 75

66

percent of voters saying he was too old to be an effective president.
Trump will be older if he completes his term.
Then he started taking on water for his perceived blank check to Benjamin Netanyahu in Gaza.
What is Kamala's own position? Biden's was 'it is nice to be nice'. Kamala's was much more nuanced yet hard-hitting. 'Nice. It's nice. To be. Nice!'
When polls indicated that I was getting more popular, the people around him didn’t like the contrast that was emerging.

Mean girls were jelly I was becoming more popular.

In Selma, Alabama, at the commemoration of Bloody Sunday, when civil-rights marchers were attacked and beaten once they’d crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge, I gave a strong speech on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Desperate people had been shot when they swarmed a food truck, and I spoke of families reduced to eating leaves or animal feed, women prematurely giving birth with little or no medical care, and children dying from malnutrition and dehydration. I reiterated my strong support for Israel’s security

was this what lost her the Muslim vote?

and called on Hamas to release the hostages and accept the cease-fire agreement then on the table. I also called on Israel for greater access to aid. It was a speech that had been vetted and approved by the White House and the National Security Council. It went viral, and the West Wing was displeased. I was castigated for, apparently, delivering it too well.

My sorority sisters didn't castigate me for losing too well. They praised me for the brilliant manner in which I had gotten less votes from even my home base, San Francisco, than Scranton Joe. Did Biden congratulate me on this? No! He is a big meanie and is totes jelly of my delivering defeat so well the fucking Republicans have had their best year since 1928.

Their thinking was zero-sum: If she’s shining, he’s dimmed.

If people think the Diversity Hire is brighter than you, you are indeed as dim as shit.

None of them grasped that if I did well, he did well.

She didn't do well. If she'd been useful to Biden, he'd have come to rely upon her. Then, he'd have an incentive to ensure she was seen to be doing well. It would increase their joint effectiveness.

The diversity hire may well complain that the Boss didn't do enough to make people think she was doing useful things. But, sometimes, the diversity hire isn't really there to show diverse shitheads can do useful things. They are there for the opposite reason. They are a charity case.

That given the concerns about his age, my visible success as his vice president was vital.

What was visible was that she lost first to a 77 year old man and then to a 78 year old man. Our concern about Kamala's age is that she might actually be only 13 years old in terms of mental development.

It would serve as a testament to his judgment in choosing me and reassurance that if something happened, the country was in good hands. My success was important for him.

What was important for her was to do stuff her Boss found useful. Find something mission critical which you can do better than anybody else and you become indispensable. Nothing wrong with starting off as a diversity hire. But whining about your boss not doing enough to make it appear you have merit, is not itself evidence of merit. It is evidence that you are a fucking charity case. Quit politics. Spend more time with your sorority sisters reminding them of that one time, you, like Hilary, lost to Trump.  Also do write another book- this time complaining about the way readers thought your last book was shite despite the fact that if only they had said your book was utterly brilliant then they would have looked good. People would think 'this dude has read an utterly brilliant book. He can't be a total loser'.

Kamala should have gotten herself a male ghost-writer with political savvy. Biden should be depicted as a very old but wise man surrounded by old but stupid White men. At first he looks upon Kamala as just a diversity hire. Then she impresses the sexy French President with her wit and savoir faire. The Press make fun of her, but she grins and bears it. The President sends her off to Guatemala. Using ancient Kung Fu techniques, she saves the President's life from a homicidal guacamole. He promises to hold free and fair elections and invites her to her grand-daughter's quinceañera. The 15 year old confesses she is a lesbian and tries to steal a kiss. Kamala tells her about stuff the 'Divine Nine' used to get up to. This scares the girl straight. She becomes a nun. The Pope rewards Kamala with the secret of the Da Vinci Code. Now, all that America has to do is elect her POTUS and all the problems of the world will be easily solved.

His team didn’t get it.

Nor did Kamala's team. She was just a Diversity Hire. The Pope hadn't really given her the secret to the Da Vinci code. Sad.

In a recent interview, Kamala has said she won't stand for office again- i.e. she isn't just giving up on California, but on returning to the Senate or running again for POTUS. Maybe that's why her book paints her as an useless narcissist. She can be an ageing Greta Thurberg who goes around saying 'the system is broken! The Sky will fall on our heads and crush us!'

Fortune magazine reports-

Kamala Harris says she’s not running for office again because the system is ‘broken’ and ‘not as strong’ as it needs to be

She was part of the system. She helped break or, at least, weaken it. This is what inevitably happens when useless Narcissists are hired because they are currently under-represented owing to historic prejudice against useless or Narcissistic people.

Kamala Harris did something unprecedented last year:

No. She lost. That's not unprecedented at all.

She had just 107 days to whip up a winning presidential campaign, the most compressed timeline ever for a major-party bid.

What was unprecedented was not running primaries and then deciding the sitting President had lost his marbles and thus should not run. The proper thing to do, if the President is not compos mentis is to get him to quit. The Veep may also be the Presidential candidate. She is welcome to set out her own stall and get elected on that basis.

But while she fell short in November, ceding victory to President Donald Trump, many believed she would run for governor of California; in early polling, she was beating every other candidate by double digits.

Newsom can't stand again.

But in an interview with Stephen Colbert,

her previous one had seen her drinking 'Miller High Life' with him. It was supposed to make her 'relatable'. A Diversity hire who drinks beer is certainly better than one who insists on fresh camel urine, but the ability to drink beer isn't really top of the list of qualities desirable in a POTUS

the former vice president explained why she’s sitting this one out.

She knows she is shit at campaigning. She will lose. Her one hope is that the Dems will be so disunited and so desperate that they will ask her to come out of retirement to defeat Vance. That's how Biden got the nomination.

“Recently, I made the decision that for now

because people aren't down on their knees begging me to stand

I don’t want to go back in the system. I think it’s broken,”

Why? Can this lawyer explain? Nope. Explanations are beyond her. All she can offer is word-salad. Still, it isn't just Kamala who has quit or 'capitulated'. She says lots of other people have as well- “Perhaps it’s naive of me … there should be many who consider themselves to be guardians of our system and our democracy who just capitulated, and I didn’t see that coming.” Is she saying she's quitting because she hadn't guessed that others might capitulate too? No. She's saying she was a diversity hire. She wasn't a guardian of shit. Now those guardians have quit, what's the point of being a diversity hire? You'd actually have to do some work yourself. Sod that as a game for soldiers. If the system is broken, let non-diversity hires fix it before, as is right and proper, getting on their knees to beg the diversity hire to come and preside over it.

she said, eliciting gasps from the Late Show’s live audience.

They would have gasped even more if she'd said something intelligent.

“Listen, I am a devout public servant,” Harris said.

She is unemployed.

“I have spent my entire career in service of the people,

i.e. couldn't hack it in the private sector

and I thought a lot about running for governor. I love my state, I love California. I’ve served as elected district attorney, attorney general, and senator.

Without having to do very much in terms of personal campaigning.

But to be very candid with you, when I was young in my career, I had to defend my decision to become a prosecutor with my family.

Nonsense! Mummy may not have been happy her daughter was putting out to a dude 30 years old than her, but he did help her advance her career in the public sector. Indians like Government jobs. True, Mummy would have preferred Kamala rose by her own efforts but, lets face it, she wasn't bright. South Indian parents think bright kids should do STEM subjects. Stupid kids become lawyers and then try to get into politics.

And one of the points that I made is, ‘Why is it when we think we want to improve a system, or change it, that we’re always on the outside on bended knee, or trying to break down the door?

Her grandfather joined the Civil Service. He worked with a politician- Kamala Devi Chattopadhyaya (Sarojini Naidu's sister-in-law)- to improve the lives of displaced people. That was the family tradition. As for the American system, it had been changed by politicians, lawyers, bureaucrats, academics and so forth. If Kamala had been smart, she could have followed the Sowell/Thomas/Coase/Posner/Obama tradition which has its roots in African American socio-political organization going back to the 1840s. This did not involve grandstanding. It involved patient 'pattern and practice' investigation of 'statistical discrimination' followed by 'consent decree' based root and branch institutional reform. Top-down initiatives could misfire. This had become apparent in the Seventies itself. Donald Harris knew Thomas Sowell. Both wrote for the 'Review of Black Political Economy'. Moreover, 'Left-wing' West Indian economists weren't crazy. They were more like Arthur Lewis than Kwame Nkrumah. As for Shyamala Harris- the fact is a fellow Left-leaning Tambram woman had become CM of Tamil Nadu. What Shyamala didn't like was the inevitable taint of corruption associated with both politics and the office of public prosecutor.

Shouldn’t we also be inside the system?’”

As parasites? Sure, if you can't become a billionaire in a high tech field- it is better than being unemployed.

While Harris made it clear to Colbert she is “always going to be part of the fight, that is not going to change,”

It must change or defeat will follow defeat. You have to get rid of not just bad Generals but also nutters who claim that farting loudly will cause the Nazis to run away from Paris.

the 60-year-old politician said she would rather spend time traveling the country and listening to people

She is incapable of listening. What she means is that she wants to be a sort of senile Greta Thurberg.

without it being “transactional, where I’m asking for their vote.”

I'm just asking for your lurve & understanding & maybe a little empathy for the sufferings of a Veep about whom Karens & Sharons in the President's office said mean things.

“There are so many good people who are public servants who do such good work,” Harris continued. “Teachers and firefighters and police officers and nurses and scientists.

and garbage collectors and ICE agents and POTUS and SCOTUS.

It’s not about them, but I believe that as fragile as our democracy is, our systems would be strong enough to defend our most fundamental principles.

She means 'should' not 'would'.

And I think right now, they‘re not as strong as they need to be.

Why didn't she help them make strong enough? Fuck was she doing as Veep? Exactly how crap was Biden? Crap enough to hire Kamala- we know that- but how much more? Who else in the Cabinet was crap? Was it Buttigieg? I suppose so.

And I just don’t want to go back in the system.”

Because I am a thirteen year old girl and I just don't want to go back to School.  I tell you the system is broken! Karen & Sharon & all the other mean girls just don't get that I'm super diverse and therefore very very special.'

Harris agreed with Colbert, that a former vice president and one-time presidential candidate calling the system “broken” is “harrowing,”

Not if the candidate was a diversity hire. The party decided it would lose either way and so let the very special little snowflake stand as its candidate for the top job.

but acknowledged that “the power is with the people.”

Trump won the popular vote. Sadly, the American people want stupid, if not evil, shit.

“You can never let anybody take your power from you,” Harris said.

Vance did. Oh. She doesn't mean that sort of power. Rather it is the power of the Epstein victim- like the 26 year old woman who received a million dollar pay-out because Epstein held her hand- thus raping her when she was a little girl even though he had no contact with her till she was in her twenties. What is empowering about this style of victimhood is that you get a pay-out for not having had sex with a dude because he was into little girls. Still, because he held your hand and, like, that's what paedophiles do to little girls, you too feel you were raped as a little girl and should be given lots of money as reparation

Indeed, everybody- regardless of age or gender- should get lots of money for having been raped as a little girl even though no such thing actually happened. Anyway, these terribly courageous 'survivors' have now brought a class-action suit against the Federal Government. If Trump shuts down the Epstein-survivor industry, I will be cheering for him. But I doubt he has the nous to do it.

“And that’s what I’d like to remind folks of.”

What she reminds us of is an Epstein-survivor. Becoming Veep, Kamala was raped as a little girl by various Karens & Sharons on the President's staff. They tried to take her power from her. They failed. Kamala will now become the Greta Thrunberg of senile sororities urging her brave soul sisters to stand up and recover memories of being raped as little girls by evil Jews like Moses or Abraham.

To be fair, Biden could be maladroit. Kamala mentions one occasion, Biden called her hours before she was due to debate Trump, while she was preparing in a hotel room.

According to Harris, Biden told her some "real powerbrokers in Philly" had decided not to support her, because they'd heard she'd said bad things about him.

This suggests that Biden had suddenly become a bitter old man. He should have been boosting her morale and adding that she needed to make specific points which would win back the support of wavering 'powerbrokers' (if, indeed, any such existed).

"I just couldn't understand why he would call me, right now, and make it all about himself.

He was a bitter old man rather than a substitute Daddy.

Distracting me with worry about hostile powerbrokers in the biggest city of the most important state."

Here's the problem. Presidents aren't meant to get distracted. They don't need father surrogates to buy them a sundae and say 'Don't listen to the mean girls. You are my super-hero'. Still, if Biden omitted to say this, there can be no possible doubt, that he sabotaged Kamala- probably because he is a Racist, Misogynist, Nazi bigot.
