How retarded is Rahul Gandhi?

Rahul Gandhi writes in the Indian Express-

India was silenced by the East India Company.

Rahul's ancestors were not silenced by the Company. They earned good money acting as its 'vakeels' (lawyers/ agents). As a commercial enterprise, the EIC had very good relations with all mercantile communities of India as well as friendships and alliances with various Princes and potentates. Initially, its expansion in India was financed by Indian capital.

It was silenced not by its business prowess, but by its chokehold.

Its business prowess enabled to grow and grow whereas Portuguese, French and Dutch enterprises failed to do so. One smart thing it did in its early days was to partner with Armenians and various indigenous mercantile communities.  The Gujrati banias so trusted the Brits that they would go on board British ships in Surat and dine with the Captain and other British notables. No meat was served. Hence the Naval term 'banyan day' for one on which no flesh or fowl is served. The Company encouraged and protected private enterprise which is why merchants of all communities gravitated to British ruled territory.

The Company choked India by partnering with, bribing, and threatening our more pliant maharajas and nawabs.

So, the Nehru dynasty was very evil. It served a rapacious foreign master who was choking Indian peeps and extracting semen from them through aggravated acts of fellatio.

It controlled our banking, bureaucratic, and information networks.

It had a bureaucracy. So did various princes. It did not control banks or other private companies in India. Indeed, Indian merchants flourished by building or buying ships and engaging in oceanic commerce. The famous Jejeebhoys, who were Parsis, had a partnership with a Hindu, a Muslim and a Goan Christian, and had a long standing relationship with Jardine Matheson.

We didn’t lose our freedom to another nation; we lost it to a monopolistic corporation that ran a coercive apparatus.

No. We lost it to the British nation which had given John Company a charter and a monopoly on British trade with India and China (not a monopoly on trade within India or China) and helped it with naval and military resources (for which it had to pay the exchequer).

Rahul is truly as stupid as shit. He doesn't get that his own ancestors were happy to earn money by working for the Company. But then the Mughal Emperor, too, was a pensioner of the Brits.

The Company controlled the terms of trade and obliterated competition.

Nonsense! They had to pay the market rate otherwise supply would disappear. Interestingly, the Brits lowered auction prices for tax-farming rights because they found the natives went a bit crazy and bid too much. But this meant they would go bankrupt and thus not be able to pay.

It dictated who sold what and to whom.

Fuck off! This cunt is describing the type of Socialism his idiot great-grandfather espoused.  In British India anybody was free to buy or sell anything they liked save for things like opium. But that is still the case in independent India.

It wiped out our textile industry and manufacturing system.

Nope. It made the higher value adding sector of the Indian textile industry more prosperous. Thanks to the Brits, India had steam mills long before Japan or China. The problem was that India's productivity was low. Weavers and spinners have to eat. Even the meanest fare costs money. Man can't compete with steam powered machines at the lower end of the market.

I do not know of any product innovation or market development the Company performed.

Because you don't know shit you stupid shithead! The Company introduced steam powered mills, boats, railways, telegraph and many other scientific and technological innovations to India. Tea production in Assam was started by an official of the Company. It appears that a Frenchman (or perhaps two different Frenchmen) in the employ of the Company started indigo cultivation.

What I do know is that it secured a monopoly for the cultivation of opium in one region and developed a captive market of opium addicts in another.

No. There was a monopoly on the trade, not the cultivation, of opium in directly ruled India. It did not apply to Princely India. Trading in 'Malwa opium' made many Indians traders rich. The Chinese should have grown and taxed their own opium. Once they started to do so, their country became stronger.

Yet, while the Company plundered India,

Nehru's received a share of that booty because they were the vakils of the Company. Indians had been plundering each other. Tired of the depredation of the dacoit and the 'thugee' cult, Indians preferred British rule. Even some Indian Rajahs started to behave decently for fear they might be removed from the throne by the British Political Agent.

it behaved as a model corporate citizen in the UK.

Because the Brits are a patriotic people. They love their country and are prepared to die for it. They won't become vakils to a bunch of rapacious foreigners.

Its foreign shareholders loved it.

British shareholders.

The original East India Company wound up over 150 years ago, but the raw fear it then generated is back.

Rahul is shitting himself as he writes this.

A new breed of monopolists has taken its place.

Unlike Rahul, their Mummies aren't European. India should only be looted by Italians like Quattrocchi Mama.

They have amassed colossal wealth, even as India has become far more unequal and unfair for everybody else.

The Dynasty has amassed colossal wealth.

Our institutions no longer belong to our people,

Indian National Congress belongs to the Dynasty

they do the bidding of monopolists.

Kharge does Rahul's bidding.

Lakhs of businesses have been decimated and India is unable to generate jobs for her youth.

Because Nehru had shit for brains.

Bharat Mata is mother to all her children.

Rahul's Mummy is Italian.

The monopolisation of her resources and power, this blatant denial of the many for the sake of a chosen few,

half Italian, one quarter Parsi

has wounded her.

Did you know that Adani was a pauper till 2014? It isn't true that he was worth 3 billion dollars under Manmohan.

I know that hundreds of India’s brilliant and dynamic business leaders are scared of the monopolists.

They shit themselves when I phone them up and say in a fake British accent, 'I iz from East India Company. I will come and choke you. Mind it kindly.'

Are you one of them? Scared to talk on the phone? Scared of the monopolists colluding with the state to enter your sector and crush you?

e.g. the Adanis taking over Ambuja Cement previously owned by starving Swiss peasants. Indian army beat them till they agreed to accept ten billion dollars for the sale.

Scared of I-T, CBI or ED raids forcing you to sell your business to them? Scared of them starving you of capital when you need it the most? Scared of them changing the rules of the game midway to ambush you?

There are no such people. True, there was some dude he gave money to Mahua Moitra, but that was just business is all. He wasn't shitting himself because East India Company might come and choke him after which evil Viceroy Lord Mountbatty would suck him off mercilessly draining him of jizz.

You know that describing these oligarchic groups as businesses is misleading.

They are experts in long distance fellatio. Even now they may be invisibly sucking you off.

When you compete with them, you are not competing with a company, you are fighting the machinery of the Indian state.

Very true. About a dozen years ago, I set up a car manufacturing unit in my kitchen to compete with the Tata Nano. Indian soldiers invaded my flat and forcibly shut down my factory.

Their core competence is not products, consumers or ideas, it is their ability to control India’s governing institutions and regulators — and, in surveillance.

Did you know that Ratan Tata's ghost is watching you when you poop? That's what happens when a Gujju becomes Prime Minister.

Unlike you, these groups decide what Indians read and watch, they influence how Indians think and what they speak.

Adani is making me talk bollocks. I will shit myself to show my defiance of the East India Company.

Today, market forces do not determine success, power relations do.

Which is why this cunt wants power. He feels his family hasn't looted the country enough.

There is fear in your hearts. But there is also hope.

The hope you will go the way of your Daddy and Granny.

In contrast to the “match-fixing” monopoly groups, there is a larger number of amazing “play-fair” Indian businesses, from micro-enterprises to large corporations, but you are silent.

Because you aren't as stupid as me.

You persevere in an oppressive system.

Why do people persevere in the Indian National Congress where they are oppressed by this nutter? Oh. They are stealing money.

Consider Peyush Bansal, a first-generation entrepreneur with no political contacts, who started a business

in America, where he was a student and a Microsoft employee.

when he was just 22.

That's when he returned to India. Adani quit College when he was 16 to work as a diamond sorter. At 19, his elder brother put him in charge of a small plastics unit.

He went on to co-found Lenskart in 2010, which reshaped the eyewear sector. Today, Lenskart provides employment to thousands across India.

Adani has generated hundreds of thousands of such jobs.

Then take Faqir Chand Kohli

who had a masters in Electrical Engineering from MIT. He joined Tatas in the Fifties. Thanks to Indira Gandhi's horrible Socialist policies, it took six years to import a mainframe from Burroughs at double the cost. Thankfully, Kohli got a cheap computer from LIC where the Luddite staff had gone on strike! Incidentally, when Janata came to power, Tatas did get permission to manufacture computers but decided it was too risky because Communist trade unionists and Gandhian politicians would be bound to create a ruckus sooner or later. TCS's big break came when, under Janata, they got permission to set up a New York office. Essentially, TCS was arbitraging India's low waged brains which were happy enough to do work of a very tedious kind.

who, as a manager, built Tata Consultancy in the 1970s. It was a triumph of ambition over fear, the guts to take on giants like IBM and Accenture in their backyard.

TCS supplied computer services to American mainframe manufacturers. IBM made mainframes. It did not supply computer services. Accenture didn't exist at that time. It was part of Arthur Andersen and advised clients about how and at what cost business processes could be computerized. What Rahul has written is nonsense. Remember he is just 7 years younger than me.

TCS and other pioneers transformed global IT services from a boutique process to an industrial process.

Nonsense! Computing was already an 'industrial process' at the time of punch cards. Interestingly, Tatas in India were just a year or two behind Japan in computing at the end of the Fifties. But for Nehru's stupid policies, India could have been part of the 'hardware' revolution.

I have never personally known Bansal or the late FC Kohli. It could well be that their political preferences diverge/diverged from mine. So what?

You are stupid and inherited your position. They were smart and worked hard and rose by their own efforts. Their views are worth listening to.

It seems that companies like Tynor, InMobi, Manyavar, Zomato, Fractal Analytics, Araku Coffee, Tredence, Amagi, iD Fresh Food, PhonePe, Moglix, Sula Vineyards, Juspay, Zerodha, Veritas, Oxyzo, Avendus, from the younger lot, and L&T, Haldiram, Aravind Eye Hospital, Indigo, Asian Paints, HDFC group, Bajaj Auto and Bajaj Finance, Cipla, Mahindra Auto, Titan, from the older lot — most I hardly know personally — are a tiny sample of homegrown companies that have innovated and chosen to play by the rules.

Did you know Adani and Ambani are British Lords?

I am sure I have left out hundreds of names which fit the bill even better, but you understand my point.

Your point is that Adani is a British Lord who is using Indian Army to beat starving Swiss peasants till they sell him cement companies or what have you.

My politics has always been about protecting the weak and voiceless.

Did Rahul protect Manmohan? That man was weak and could barely squeak out a word or two.

I draw my inspiration from Gandhiji’s words about defending the last voiceless person in the “line”.

Gandhi never said anything so stupid. There is no line of dumb folk.

This conviction made me support MGNREGA, the Right to Food and the Land Acquisition Bill. I stood with the Adivasis in the famous confrontation of Niyamgiri.

He prevented Vedanta setting up a bauxite mine there some 14 years ago. The people there are as poor as ever. Perhaps the new BJP regime will help them.

I backed our farmers in their struggle against the three black farm laws. I listened to the pain of the people of Manipur.

You lost three elections. You should have listened to those who were telling you to hire a speech writer rather than talk ignorant bollocks.

But I realised I had missed the full depth of Gandhiji’s words. I failed to pick up that “line” is a metaphor —

Gandhi never mentioned any fucking line. He said 'Recall the face of the poorest and weakest man whom you have seen and ask yourself if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him. Will he gain anything by it?' Since Gandhi was at pains to appear the poorest, weakest and most stupid man anyone had ever seen, his 'talisman' was self-serving.

that, in fact, there are many different “lines” in society. In the “line” you stand in, that of business,

you are not poor or weak. If you were, who would do business with you?

it is you who are the exploited, the disadvantaged.

Rahul is in the political line. Kharge is exploiting him like anything.

And so, my politics will aim to provide you with what you have been denied — fairness and freedom to operate.

I will prevent East India Company from choking you and sucking you off. Well, that will be my aim. If it can't be achieved by my shitting myself- you are out of luck.

The government cannot be allowed to support one business at the expense of all others, much less support benami equations in the business system.

Especially if Indian soldiers are being sent to beat starving Swiss adivasis till they sell cement companies to Adani.

Government agencies are not weapons to be used to attack and intimidate businesses.

Rahul is attacking Adani. He wants power. If he gets it, what will he do to them? The answer is he will aim to shit himself and, thanks to his being the poorest and weakest person in his particular 'line' of business, he may indeed achieve a self-soiling of prodigious proportions. Yet, there are some people who say Rahul is useless!

That said, I do not believe that fear should be transferred from you to these big monopolists. They are not evil individuals, but simply the outcome of the deficiencies of our societal and political environment. They should get space, and so should you.

There is plenty of empty space in my brain. Elon Musk should send a rocket to explore those vast expanses.

This country is for all of us. Our banks should overcome their fascination for the top 100 well-connected borrowers with their attendant NPAs and be made to discover the profit pools in lending and supporting the play-fair businesses.

So Bankers are to be forced to do Rahul's bidding. But why stop at bankers? Why not just declare a State of Emergency and make Rahul Dictator?

Finally, we must not underestimate the power of social pressure and resistance in moulding political behaviour.

Nor the power of voters to get rid of a stupid dynast.

There is no need for messiahs. You are the change that will generate wealth and employment for all.

Which businessman would employ this retard?

I believe a new deal for progressive Indian business is an idea whose time has come.

It didn't come when Rahul had power and prevented Manmohan from carrying forward with needful reform. Still, it is good to know that if you are a starving businessman who has lost his voice or who was born dumb, Rahul will come and protect you from East India Company by shitting himself copiously.
