Peter Beinart on why Rashida Tlaib should have been Veep.

In previous blog posts, I have drawn attention to the real and present danger that Joe Biden's failure to undergo gender reassignment surgery would seriously damage Mindy Kaling's chance of victory in the recent Presidential election. Sadly, I am obliged to admit that Peter Beinart's prognostications were superior to mine. It was the Democrats failure to undergo collective gender reassignment surgery at the hands of Hamas in Gaza which paved the path to Trump's re-entering the White House.

During the presidential campaign, journalists trying to assess the electoral impact of Israel's war in Gaza often focused on Arab and Muslim voters, particularly in Michigan.

Muslims are less than three percent of Michigan's population. Kamala alienated them by not wearing burqa and stabbing her Jewish husband repeatedly.

That’s understandable. In the heavily Arab American city of Dearborn, Mich., which supported Joe Biden in 2020,

Biden has a dick. Kamala doesn't. Why is she not wearing a burqa and stabbing Jewish hubby? Is it coz she iz bleck?

results show that Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris by about six percentage points.

Jill Stein, a Jewish lady, took votes from Kamala because Muslim voters discovered Kamala was not a Camel. She was a darkie of some benighted type.

But viewing Gaza’s political repercussions merely through the lens of identity misses something fundamental.

It misses the fact that people think there would have been no war there if Trump had been in charge.

Over the past year, Israel’s slaughter and starvation of Palestinians — funded by U.S. taxpayers and live-streamed on social media — has triggered one of the greatest surges in progressive activism in a generation.

A greater surge would cause the resurrection of Ronald Reagan and his return to the White House.

Many Americans roused to action by their government’s complicity in Gaza’s destruction have no personal connection to Palestine or Israel.

or reality.

Like many Americans who protested South African apartheid or the Vietnam War, their motive is not ethnic or religious. It is moral.

The yfeel it is their moral duty to be as useless as possible.

The outrage has been particularly intense among Black Americans

who don't want an African American to be President because Jews continue to exist.

and the young.

Who don't want a President who isn't as old as fuck because they have discovered that Jews exist.

This spring, encampments expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people rose on more than 100 college campuses.

They are angry with the Dems who keep trying to forgive their student debt. Trump will make them pay for the privilege of becoming stupider than shit.

In February, the Council of Bishops of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, one of the nation’s most prominent Black congregations, called the war in Gaza a “mass genocide” and demanded that the Biden-Harris administration stop funding it.

In March, the Council of the Archons of the Ku Klux Klan called those Bishops a bunch of bonobos. How about us getting together to crowd-fund a mass genocide for darkies like that Hindoooo Vance is married to?

In June, the NAACP urged an end to weapons shipments as well. A June CBS News poll found that while most voters over the age of 65 supported arms sales to Israel, voters under the age of 30 opposed them by a ratio of more than three to one. And while only 56 percent of white voters favored cutting off weapons, among Black voters the figure was 75 percent.

It is estimated that Trump only got about 20 percent of the African American male vote and perhaps 7 percent of the female. The plain fact is non Muslim African Americans aren't particularly concerned about Ukraine or Gaza or other such White People Problems.

Those pre-election polling numbers may explain some of what we saw Tuesday night. Kamala Harris is far more youthful than Joe Biden. Yet, early exit polls — from CNN, The Washington Post and Fox News and The Associated Press — suggest she suffered a sharp decline among voters under the age of 29 compared with Mr. Biden’s result in 2020. Ms. Harris is Black, yet according to CNN and The Washington Post, she did slightly worse than Mr. Biden among Black voters. One exit poll, from Fox News and The Associated Press, suggests she did significantly worse.

Young people were so upset about Gaza that they voted for a dude who is as old as fuck. Blacks became reluctant to vote for a Black candidate because of Gaza. Why? The answer is young people, like black people, wanted to see Biden undergo gender reassignment surgery at the hands of Hamas. It was his failure to meet this reasonable expectation which led to the defeat of the Dems.

Surely, many young and Black voters were dissatisfied with the economy. Some may have been attracted to Mr. Trump’s message on immigration. Others may have been reluctant to vote for a woman.

Trump was a better president. Kamala is a vapid diversity hire. Still, maybe it was true that Trump would rape you, not let you get an abortion, and then eat the baby.

But these broader dynamics do not fully explain Ms. Harris’s underperformance, because she appears to have lost far less ground among voters who are older and white.

And who think a POTUS can never be vapid enough or clueless enough.  Look at Biden.

Her share of white voters equaled Mr. Biden’s. Among voters over age 65, she actually gained ground.

Because she wasn't shouting 'death to Israel'. Indeed, she didn't even stab her Jewish husband repeatedly.

Which brings us back to Ms. Harris’s support for Israel’s war in Gaza.

America supports its ally in its war against a common enemy. Shocker!

Despite overwhelming evidence that the Democratic Party’s most devoted constituents

Jill Biden? Kamala's Jewish husband? My guess is both would be pretty fucking devoted to the Democratic party

wanted to end sales of weapons to Israel,

because why sell what you can give away for free?

the Biden administration kept sending them, even after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel expanded the war into Lebanon.

Israel is killing Arabs. Guess who killed 1.3 million of them towel-heads earlier in this century? It was the country which re-elected Bush and re-elected Obama. Trump made peace with Muslims and wasn't re-elected. Then Biden screwed the pooch and so Trump will return. That's it. That's the whole story.

And not only did Ms. Harris not break with Mr. Biden’s policy, she went out of her way to make voters who care about Palestinian rights feel unwelcome.

She would often snub people who requested her to stab her Jewish husband while fisting herself in support of trans rights for Guatemalan goats.

When antiwar activists interrupted a speech of hers in August, Ms. Harris snapped, “If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that.”

I suppose Peter Beinart wants Netanyahu to win.

At the Democratic National Convention, her campaign rebuffed a plea from activists to let a Palestinian American speak from the main stage.

They didn't even allow a Palestinian American to rape and decapitate a Jew on stage.

And just days before the election, the Harris surrogate Bill Clinton told a Michigan crowd that Hamas had “force[d]” Israel to kill Palestinian civilians by using them as human shields.

The Dems may have to expel anti-semitic nutters just like the British Labour Party.  After all, Muslims are only 1.35 percent of America. They are over 6 percent in UK. Meanwhile Jews are 2.4 percent in the US. They are just half a percent in the UK.

All this provided Mr. Trump an opportunity.

Biden being shit presented the Republicans with an opportunity. Trump was their best pick and he has delivered. Maybe if Biden had bombed the fuck out of Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollahs etc. the Dems would have won. There's something so satisfying about bombing camel jockeys. They're cool with it coz they all get seventy two virgins in Heaven if kaffirs kill them. Also, if White peeps keep killing brown peeps, that's got to be good for China- right?

According to The Times, his campaign found that undecided voters in swing states were about six times as likely as other swing-state voters to be motivated by the war in Gaza. Mr. Trump wooed them. He pledged to help “the Middle East return to real peace” and lambasted former Representative Liz Cheney, a Republican with whom Ms. Harris had chosen to campaign, as a “radical war hawk.” Like Richard Nixon, who in 1968 appealed to antiwar voters by promising “an honorable end to the war in Vietnam,” Mr. Trump portrayed himself — however insincerely — as the candidate of peace.

Peace is good. All candidates say they are for it and for Prosperity.

For months now, commentators close to the Palestinian rights movement have feared exactly this scenario. In August, the Palestinian American analyst Yousef Munayyer warned that “Unless Harris takes some steps to break from Biden’s Israel policy, the same issue that helped tank an already vulnerable Joe Biden with his base could put major obstacles in her path to victory.”

The Dems weren't saying that they were more pro-Israel than Trump. Maybe they should have. The impression created was that Kamala was less enthused by Israel than Biden who was less enthused (perhaps because of Netanyahu) than Trump. It may turn out this isn't actually the case. Most Jews still voted Democratic- perhaps 80 percent- and Trump may turn out to be a fair-weather friend for Netanyahu.

But people who are passionate about Palestinian rights

are killed by Hamas unless they are being killed by the PLO or live in Lebanon or Syria or some other country where it is the local people look upon Palestinians with disfavour.

rarely occupy influential positions in Democratic campaigns.

America can't do shit for Palestinians. People who are passionate about Palestinian rights need to occupy influential positions in the Nigerian Post Office or the Paraguayan Penguin Appreciation society.

For decades, the party’s politicians and operatives have treated the struggle for Palestinian freedom as a taboo.

Because America can do nothing to stop Palestinian politicians fucking over their own people.

They’ve grown so accustomed to sequestering it from their stated commitment to human rights that, even amid what prominent scholars

paranoid nutters

call a genocide, Ms. Harris thought it wiser to campaign with Ms. Cheney than, say, Representative Rashida Tlaib.

Biden thought it wiser to make Harris, not Tlaib, Veep. Clearly, this is the only reason the Dems lost.

Despite overwhelming evidence, her campaign could not see that among progressive voters,

there are none such- unless Jill Stein got some votes.

the Palestine exception no longer applies.

Harris didn't lose because of Gaza. Trump didn't win because of it. Palestinians simply don't matter. Anti-Semitism can thrive even if Hamas makes peace with Israel.

There is only one path forward. Although it will require a fierce intraparty brawl, Democrats — who claim to respect human equality and international law — must begin to align their policies on Israel and Palestine with these broader principles. In this new era, in which supporting Palestinian freedom has become central to what it means to be progressive, the Palestinian exception is not just immoral. It’s politically disastrous.

That is not the lesson of this election. 'Progressiveness' or 'wokeness' is politically disastrous. Jews may continue to support the Dems. Hispanic men have abandoned them. African American men may follow suit.

For a long time, Palestinians in Gaza and beyond have been paying for that exception with their lives.

They are paying for Hamas's policies which, however, benefit the Ikhwan and Shia Iran. Nobody gives a shit about Palestinians. They are canon fodder merely or an excuse to indulge in anti-Semitism.

Now Americans are paying too.

Beinart was beaten and sodomized by Netanyahu.

It may cost us our freedom.

Netanyahu may retain Beinart as a sex slave. This is Biden's fault. He should have made Rashida Tlaib Veep.
